Assist 100 Sudanese Families Migrated to Ethiopia

This project plans to provide emergency assistance of essential food and nonfood items critical to subsistence for 100 displaced and vulnerable households affected by conflict in Khartum, the Sudan. The assistance will be provided to critically needy 100 households in consultation and selection with local government, stakeholders, the affected community leaders and existing development partners.
Since 15 April 2023, fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has continued in Khartoum. So far, the most significant cross-border movements in the region have been Sudanese fleeing to Chad, South Sudan, Egypt, Ethiopia, etc If immediate actions are denied their lives and livelihoods are at risk. Humanitarian organizations and INGOs are trying their best. However, resources are scarce and needs couldn't satisfy the needs.
The goal is to contribute to the psychological and physical survival of the affected population. An immediate responses is required to provide the most urgent and lifesaving help of food and non-food items. This assistance will help the vulnerable group to protect from hunger, diseases, and drink water and hygiene needs. Priority will be given to support vulnerable and priority households. The provision of basic food and nonfood items will complement basic survival needs and sustain their lives.
The project will help 100 household members get out of the critical effect of the hunger and thirst, and survive until better and long term means of mitigation action in place. Until then, the vulnerable groups are protected from vulnerabilities, diseases, dignity, and hunger.
