There are several modalities for business crowdfunding. For the Ethiopian context, for the time being, WegenFund will support donation-type business crowdfunding modality.
Wegenfund will serve all communities across Ethiopia from street kolo merchant to university professor, from city furniture designer to countryside farmer. Wegenfund crowdfunding for business will go live soon. As it is the first of its kind (within Ethiopia), there are some legal and operational hurdles which we are currently ironing out.
