East Action Organization (EAO) is a legally registered national civil society organization in Ethiopia dedicated to improving the lives, dignity and resilience of vulnerable, underserved and crisis-affected communities. EAO works across humanitarian and sustainable development priorities, including WASH, health and nutrition, education, child and social protection, climate resilience and environmental action, livelihoods and economic empowerment, peacebuilding and conflict prevention, human rights and governance, gender equality, youth and women’s empowerment, and emergency response. Through community-led approaches, local partnerships, evidence-based programming and inclusive participation, EAO strengthens access to essential services, builds community resilience and promotes sustainable, equitable and locally led development.
