In South Eastern Ethiopia, Somalia region, there have been several failed consecutive rainy seasons and this created a situation where it is causing a significant amount of food insecurity, and human displacement.
Particularly the women and children under 5 are the most hit; it is destroying livelihoods, crops and herds of cattle once large have been diminished … so it’s a rather desperate situation at the moment.
To reverse these devastating conditions, Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia are called to support globally to provide water trucks, food, animal feed, essential medicines, water, cloth and shelter for affected people.

በደቡብ ምስራቅ ኢትዮጵያ፣ በሶማሌ ክልል፣ በተከታታይ ዝናብ በመጥፋቱ ለከፋ ድርቅ ተጋልጠው በአካባቢው የሚኖሩ በሚሊዮን የሚቆጠሩ ሰዎች፣ እንዲሁም የቤት እንስሳት መግብ እና ውሃ በመጥፋቱ ከፍተኛ ችግር ገጥሟቸዋል።
በተለይ ከ5 አመት በታች ያሉ ህጻናት እና ሴቶች የድርቁ የመጀመሪያ ተጎጂዎች ናቸው።
እነዚህን አስከፊ ሁኔታዎች ለመቀልበስ ኢትዮጵያውያን እና የኢትዮጵያ ወዳጆች የውሃ መኪና፣ ምግብ፣ የእንስሳት መኖ፣ አስፈላጊ መድሃኒቶች፣ ውሃ፣ ጨርቅ እና መጠለያ ለተጎዱ ወገኖች ለማቅረብ ዓለም አቀፍ ድጋፍ እንዲያደርጉ ጥሪ ቀርቧል።
