Goals
The Fund is a solidarity mechanism aimed at strengthening the means of subsistence of 400 women, in particular those in situations of poverty and vulnerability.
The general objective of the Fund is to strengthen the economic empowerment of women from a perspective of sustainable development.
The specific objectives of the Fund are to:
• Facilitate women’s access to productive and viable economic opportunities;
• Limit barriers to women’s economic empowerment, including discriminatory practices and norms in access to resources;
• Improve women’s access to Entrepreneur and Business management training.
There are 400 targeted disadvantageous women in the Boset District of East Shewa zone Oromia Regional State Ethiopia who are currently mothers with only maternal roles due to lack of educational opportunities and have no opportunity to go to the market and to do small businesses outside the house. They cannot make a difference in their lives they only waiting for their husbands alone.
with available financial support because they are unable to bring about a change in their lives Our CCFO has more than 20 years of experience working in the community to bring about Psychosocial Change by taking it a priority to empower them by strengthening Socio-economic through training from time to time through self-help groups methodology to save together and access Loan.
Employees from strengthening economists are to be closely supported from time to time to reach the level of mutual lending and Economic Strengthening training on Entrepreneur and business planning to improve their livelihoods and release Startup Funds to get out of poverty by engaging them in agricultural production and Petty trade small businesses. All the work done will be reviewed by the stakeholders from time to time and the results will be announced.
