My name is Yonatan Tesfaye.
I am a 16-year-old high school student in Addis Ababa.
My project is aimed at providing food and educational material support for internally displaced children and their families who were forced to leave their hometown, and their assets, homes, and farms were destroyed due to internal conflicts and civil war.
Throughout this project, we hope to provide 100 kg of dry rice, 100 kg of white flour, 160 exercise books, and 40 pens to 40 IDP (internally displaced) children and their families.
In Ethiopia, many parents and children are forced to leave their homes and abandon their farming fields and careers. And some of them have arrived in Addis Ababa with severe mental and physical trauma.
And children have lost educational opportunities and are losing the foundation for their futures.
Through this Horizon Initiative, we hope to bring community awareness, nutritional support, and educational support.
For this, we need 30,000 ETB, and your contribution means a lot to internally displaced people and their children.
