CALL FOR SUPPORT AND PARTNERSHIP

To Our Fellow Citizens at Home and Abroad, the Oromo People, and All Nations and Nationalities of Ethiopia

Dear brothers and sisters, friends, supporters, community leaders, young people, business owners, and all individuals who have a positive relationship with us,

First and foremost, we would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all of you who have stood with us at different times, supported our community activities with your resources and capacity, and encouraged our work during challenging situations.

Thank you for coming this far with us, and thank you for continuing to walk with us toward a better and more peaceful future.

At present, we are organizing young people from different areas to strengthen voluntary community service, peace, security, social support, and hospitality activities. We are also preparing to properly welcome and support people travelling from distant areas to participate in the upcoming cultural celebration.

In particular, we are making preparations for the successful organization of the great Oromo cultural celebration of Irreecha at Hora Finfinnee and Hora Arsadi, one of the most important annual occasions through which the Oromo people come together to celebrate their culture, traditions, identity, unity, gratitude, and peaceful coexistence.

Our objective is to ensure that the celebration is conducted peacefully, safely, respectfully, and in accordance with the traditional values and customs of the Oromo people, without any unnecessary difficulties.

To achieve this, discussions and coordination activities are currently being conducted with young people and respected community members in Finfinne (Addis Ababa) and the Bishoftu area.

However, successfully implementing this large-scale initiative requires the contribution of everyone who has the willingness, capacity, resources, knowledge, and commitment to support it.
