My name is Leab Mesganaw Getinet, 14 years old a high school freshman and who is doing a Global Climate Leadership Fellowship Project which has an aim to address the impacts of climate change for a lower income individuals who were affected by the recurrent climate change impacts notably displaced and food insecure due to reaped crisis from flood. The project specifically wants to increase awareness of the local causes and impacts of climate change and raise donation for the affected individuals in Ethiopian where ERCS is working for. The donation includes financial and non financial items like dry food- rice, oil,wheat flower, biscuits. Non- food items like tent, solar lights, blankets, bed sheets, carpets and the like.
Small contributions from many people add up to big changes, My goal is to raise awareness and show that everyone, including students, can make a difference by giving what they can and encouraging others to do the same.
